BIOS IT enables composable infrastructure with vScaler and GigaIO.
November 14, 2019, London. Global HPC integration experts BIOS IT have teamed up with GigaIO and vScaler to enable a truly composable infrastructure platform, powered by the latest enterprise hardware technology, high-performance fabric and Cloud orchestration.
Composable infrastructure is an emerging category or infrastructure solutions that utilise high-bandwidth, low-latency interconnects to aggregate compute, storage, and networking fabric resources into shared resource pools that can be available for on-demand allocation. Disaggregation and composability enable organisations to meet the demands of new data-intensive applications and dynamically assign resources to match changing workloads.
With BIOS IT’s composable infrastructure platform, compute, networking, storage, GPU (or FPGA) and Intel® Optane™ memory devices are interconnected over GigaIO’s high-performance fabric (FabreX™).
