This month sees the introduction of the latest addition to Supermicro’s MicroCloud product line. The newest member is an 8-Node 3U blade cluster supporting a single Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3 processor and up to 256GB DDR4 RAM per node and is built around Supermicro’s Green Computing architecture – bringing industry leading cooling and power efficiency. This new solution maximises compute performance extending the MicroCloud family into high-performance for VDI, mobile applications, HPC and data analytics environments.

With this latest offering, the MicroCloud product family now has something for everyone from top end performance to mid-range enterprise applications, and extreme low-power energy-efficient computing in a compact, modular 3U foot print.
